The Section of Criminology of Panteion University of Social and Political Sciences and the Programme of Postgraduate Studies of the Department of Sociology “The Contemporary Criminality and its Confrontation”, on the occasion of the completion of 25 years of the teaching of Criminology at Panteion University, organize in Athens, in honour of the Professor Emeritus Iakovos Farsedakis, International Conference in June, 5th, 6th and 7th 2008, on the general topic:

The aim of the Conference if to reveal the contribution of Criminology in the theoretical and the empirical approach of the contemporary aspects of the criminal phenomenon as well as the relevant directions of criminal policy, mainly in relation to the human rights protection.
