Entry Requirements

In the programme of postgraduate studies “The Contemporary Criminality and its Confrontation”, fifteen students are accepted per year, on the basis of the higher average score obtained by the following selection criteria and weights:

A) Grade in written examinations (weighted 80%),

Β) Score in interview (weighted 20%). The participants in the interview process are those who have passed successfully the written examinations, while under consideration is also their performance in undergraduate criminological courses, their research activities and their scientific publications.

One (1) scholar of IKY, succeeded in a relevant examination for postgraduate studies, as well as one (1) foreign scholar of the Greek state can also be accepted in the postgraduate programme (§3 art.4 No. 3685/08).

In the programme of postgraduate studies “The Contemporary Criminality and its Confrontation”, graduates of the following University Departments of Social Sciences in Greece and relevant University Departments abroad (recognition from the National Academic Recognition Information Centre is required) can be accepted:
