Vicky Vlachou is assistant professor at Panteio University of Social and Political Sciences at the Department of Sociology at the Sector of Criminology.
She has studied Sociology at Panteio University (1995) and made postgraduate studies and Phd in Criminology. The title of her doctoral thesis is «Woman-victim of use of physical violence and criminal justice system» and it had been completed in 2003. Her basic scientific interests are: History of Criminological Theories, Criminal Justice and Victim and Domestic and Non-Domestic Violence.
She works as lecturer at Panteio University and specifically at the sector of Criminology at the Department of Sociology since 2010. From 2014 she works as assistant professor. She teaches criminological courses in undergraduate and postgraduate level. She has written three books and many articles in scientific journals. She has participated in criminological and sociological researches.
She has taught in almost all educational levels and has presented announcements in Greek, European and international scientific symposiums. She is member of Greek Society of Criminology and has been member of European Society of Criminology and World Society of Victimology.
