IN MEMORIAM OF PROFESSOR IAKOVOS FARSEDAKIS

Emeritus Professor Iakovos Farsedakis (1940-2024) passed away on 26.1.2024. He was one of the most reputable Criminologists in Greece and internationally, possessing wide encyclopedic knowledge, deep intellectual culture, expertness of the criminal sciences, but above all he was a great humanist and advocate of human rights. He was a prominent figure who contributed the utmost to Criminology and received great recognition both at a national and international level.

It is with deep sadness and respect that we bid farewell to the founder of the Postgraduate Programme of Criminology ibn Panteion University, Professor Iakovos Farsedakis with gratitude for what he offered to his colleagues and students. 

May his memory be eternal!
